Holiday Treats!

I made a bunch of holiday treats for coworkers and neighbors...
Yummy!!

Peppermint Bark
This doesn't even really require a recipe - melt chocolate, spread in waxed-paper-lined pan, sprinkle with crushed candy-canes. Once set, break into pieces.

Oreo Truffles
I made two versions of these - one with regular oreos, one candy-cane flavored!
Ingredients
1 package oreos
1 80z brick of cream cheese
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup white chocolate chips

Directions
Using a food processor, crush oreos into super fine crumbs
In a mixer, blend oreos, cream cheese, and vanilla until well-blended - no cream cheese showing anymore.
Form mixture into balls (should make about 40 in all).
Chill for about an hour. Stick a toothpick in each ball.
Melt dark chocolate and dip balls into chocolate. Remove toothpick and use finger to re-shape truffle to cover hole.
Melt white chocolate and put into a ziplock bag. Cut a small hole in corner of bag.
Drizzle white chocolate over truffles.
I made the candy cane version of these using Trader Joe's Candy Cane sandwich cookies. After I put the white chocolate on, I sprinkled crushed candy canes over everything.
